The other day I was at the pool right. I am lifeguarding at a little white neighborhood pool. Let me emphasize white again. He tells this to me while holding a GLASS bottle of beer and smoking a cigarette. Apparently he also gets drunk at the pool regularly according to other parents. What kills me is that I have to respect this request and kick these guys out if they come back. I think I will just tell them that they need to make their guest argument more convincing and find a neighborhood kid who can really vouch for them. I am supposed to make sure they are safe I am not a freaking pool bouncer! I know this guy wouldn't have cared if they were white.
