That's what Myrti ate a couple days ago. And she just now got back home from the vet and is doing just fine.

It's all my own fault actually.  I've know Myrtle to be a string eater for almost a year now. She'll eat thread and tinsel that's laying around (a lot of cats do).  But Myrti's exquisite taste for strings is greater than any cat I've known.  ( Read more... )

I've decided to change my cats names from Jin Jin and Myrtle to Shenanigans 1 and Shenanigans 2.

We actually returned to the Eye on Friday night, but we got there right at closing.    Did I mention we are still suffering from jet lag.  We can't fall sleep til 3 or 4 am and then can't get up til noon or 1pm.  The sun goes down at 430pm and it's usually cloudy anyway so we never see the sun.

So other than the 9 hour flight being uncomfortable and Air Canada neglecting to check our bags through to London, even though they had four hours to do it........*takes breath* the 4 hour layover in Vancouver was not too bad.  Actually, it's the nicest airport I've ever been in.  So nice in fact.....that I took photos (^_^);
