Interpol and 99x
Last night was the 99x promo party with Interpol playing a short teaser set and it was fantastic! It was like an appetizer to look forward to the main course tonight. The setlist was:

Afterwards, the DJ's at 99x tossed out 'Antics' T-shirts and several were snatched up instantly except for one that dangled by a ceiling light. I think someone eventually hiked themselves up and grabbed it. Unfortunately, I wasn't tall or near enough to get any of them.
Anyway, I'm saving the best part for last. About an hour after their set, Sam(drummer) came out and signed autographs and chatted with the fans. I greeted him and shook his hand. Afterward, Daniel(guitar) and Carlos(bass) emerged and they signed autographs as well. I shook their hands and told them I look forward to tonight's show. I also spoke briefly with Carlos about his DJ set and music he likes to play. He complimented my Skinny Puppy T-shirt and said he played them occasionally when he DJ's.
Finally, Paul(singer/guitarist) came out and shook hands with the fans, then signed autographs. He is soft spoken, but nice. In fact, all of them were very nice. They even stayed longer to have photos taken.
I had my 'Antics' CD signed by the entire band. When time permits I will scan the cover to show off.
Tonight is the sold out show. wOOt! I am so looking forward to this.
