I've had this piece about surviving the gym in January kicking around in my head for years, and finally I have a forum to write it.  Nothing like combining the expertise of my day job (personal training) with my dream job (writing.)

I don't know about you, but I'm prone to the last-present blues around Christmastime.  And it isn't entirely about the last present I'm getting, or unwrapping.  Having someone else's Christmas present, ready and waiting for them perks me right up.  When it comes to my presents, I'm a procrastinator, though.  "Here, Mom, unwrap one of yours!  Dad!  ( Read more... )

Do any of my more art-inclined friends have advice on how to review books of photography?  I was feeling a little out of my depth.
