Summer Part 2
Wed, 17 - Went to Tina phi's graduation @ Bolsa Grande High School with Ly and Juliane. Man I hate high school idiots. I used to be like them. Then hung out with Jenns @ The Block, got Jamba Juice, and watched UP. I cried again... twice. After I went to drop off Kev's GTA IV, because it arrived in the mail. Hung out with Kev for a little, then Chris came home. Went to meet up with some of Chris' Lexus friends @ The Sherington hotel. Talked about cars for a long time, then went to Mae's Cafe to eat dinner with Van while Lexus guys talked outside. On the way there, we took up all the lanes on the freeway, blocking traffic behind us. But it was awesome, because it was a line of Lexus GS's. I bet people got pissed haha. On the way home, I got gas and saw John Khuu at Shell. He's gonna be a student teacher at GGHS in the fall! Isn't that crazy?! So crazy.
Thu, 18 - I literally spent all day catching up on all my blogs for music. Also played some Street Fighter IV on Xbox Live.
Fri, 19 - Went to set up digital TV for my grandma, got some Hong Kong Express, and got cups and ping pong balls for Beer Pong. Played with water @ home for awhile with my mom. Then went to California Pizza Kitchen with Van and Tracy. After dinner, went to another car show at Platinum VIP with Chris, Van, and Monica. Saw a bunch of nice cars, and got an awesome apple air freshener for my car.
Sat, 20 - Worked with new manager, Jeff Duran @ Staples. Bye Seth :'(. Jeff is really cool though. He puts less responsibility on me than even Henry, haha. Also, I swacked a 32gb flash drive. It retails for $175. I always needed one of these :D
Sun, 21 - Worked a full day with Jeff and Sandy. They are the best (and worst) pair of managers to work with. Best, because they don't give a shit about anything, and they just do what they need to do quickly. Worst, because they don't say anything when everyone stands around and talks all day, getting nothing done. Anyway, watched new episode of Weeds with Monica, then went to eat at Pho Ga with Chris, Van, Tracy, and Kelvin. I used to think Kelvin was snobby, but he's really down to earth and we could probably talk for days about all different kinds of stuff. I hope he got a better impression of me this time around, than before.
Mon, 22 - Pre-ordered my iphone 3Gs from AT&T store in Santa Ana. I felt like the salesman was raping me, and I let him know every step of the way. Penetration "THIS FUCKING HURTS" Stretching "GODDAMNIT" Full Force "OH MAN, I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN TAKE IT" and then he jizzed, and I took it all like a filthy whore. Oh well, now I'm in the cool club. Also, I went to Chris' and vacuumed my car out with his Shop Vac. That thing is amazing. My car is so clean inside now. Also, we had pizza from this place in Fullerton and it was delicious.
Tue, 23 - My aunt from Taiwan on my dad's side came down to visit and gave me and my brother red envelopes. I feel bad for taking so much money, but the old reject-reject-reject-reject-accept thing has been played out. After, I left my family to go to Universal City Walk to eat before The Tonight Show with Conan O'brien with Tracy, Van, and Stephanie. I had Tommy Burger for the first time.. it was disappointing. The chilli tasted like mush. We went in a toy/candy store and I saw this guy:
I kinda want him now. After that, we took the shuttle back up and walked to the Universal Lot. We waited in line outside for I don't know how long. We finally got in around 4ish or 4:30ish. The pages wouldn't even let you take your phone out. It had to be out of sight. The studio is not as big as it looks on tv, but it looks so crazy inside. There are probably more than a hundred spotlights hanging from the ceiling. We sat right by the Tonight Show Band, and Conan's desk was on the opposite end. The guests were Lisa Kudrow, Billy Mays & Anthony Sullivan, and Elvis Costello. You can see the show on tv, but it was really funny. Did you know that the band plays a song through the entire commercial break.. so when they leave and come back for commercial, it's the same song. Also, not only is Conan really tall, but Andy Richter is also a giant. They dwarfed the puny humans around them. After the show, Conan had to shoot 3 short commercials that air during the 10o'clock news on NBC. And after that, I yelled out for Conan to do the string dance, and he did it! He did like 4 tugs, but I bet people ask him to do it every single show haha. After Conan, we went to the Korea town area and got yogurt and coffee, while we waited out traffic. The end.
