Prepare to launch
I've been using Launchy for quite some time now and I must say I really love it! The most useful tool I've downloaded next to utorrent. Haha. Just press alt+spacebar and a small window opens where you simply type the filename or application that you wish to launch (the first few letters would suffice). You can even search Google, Wikipedia, and Amazon via Launchy (ex: type amazon, press tab, then type whatever you're looking for). I can even use it as a calculator. Ain't that cool?!
However, Launchy has rendered me helpless when I need to navigate through my computer. I've been too dependent on it for searching or opening files/applications that more than half the time I don't know their exact location. :P Nevertheless, it's a great app and I can't see myself ever getting rid of it. You should try it! :D
