This past week at work has been interesting. Been busy and am loving it. I really love my job and the new projects that come with it each day. I have been able to learn a new computer program (Visio) and am really getting comfortable with it. I also got to work on putting together a "Cliff's Notes" version of a corporate video. It is about the relaunch of our corporate culture and it pertains to the bank but the insurance side is supposed to use it as well. The video is your typical corporate video, the downside is they never mention our side of the company. Oh well, I enjoyed reviewing it on Friday (I think the whole office was in the I don't feel like working mood after lunch). I took notes and am going to type it up in the morning for my boss.
Now to the fun stuff. I have slacked a bit on the exercising and eating right the past couple of weeks, so I will be starting back on that tomorrow. I have been talking with Warren at work some, we have actually started to become more comforatble talking to each other. A good friend of mine went to the Titans game with me last week, we sat in my company's luxuary box. Really nice. W had invited me to tailgate with him but I didn't manage to make it since I was running late picking up my friend Mike. When we saw each other at the game, he asked why I didn't show up, I explained and before I could introduce him to my friend, he intorduced himself. Oh well. Mike wasn't that impressed because W was hanging with his friends talking about drinking, etc. It ws interesting to say the least.
I watched World Trade Center on Sunday-wonderful film, really enjoyed it. Bumped into W at the mall, we talked for a second. On Wednesday we discussed me cooking ribs. . .we settled on Sunday evening. So, I have a crazy weekend of exercising, watching football and hanging out with my friends. It was great and I was even more excited about Sunday.
Because I am crap when it comes to cleaning my apartment, I spent a good portion of Sunday cleaning. My apartment looks better than it has in ages. Hopefully I can keep it clean. . .
So, I get cleaned up, finish getting everything together and wait for W to arrive.
He is supposed to be here at 7. At 8, I send him a text asking if he forgot. He called, apologized profusely. Um, how can you forget my ribs? I mean, my friends beg for me tot cook them and they line up for them. . .
