Oh man, I just got done laughing a storm. What sparked this laugh of the Gods? Why this silly date of 4/20 and what people do on it. Before i start my rant i spose i shall inform you about the mythology of this date. There are several divieations and differnt reasons why people smoke pot on this day. Apparently long ago, a man exsisted who possessed super natural abilities to smoke weed. He was a huge supporter of the legalization and use of weed. He either died or was born on this day. Another myth is that 4/20 is the day you harvest your marijuana plant because it peaks around now. People would then obviosuly smoke thier hard work off.
All of these myths are false. It in fact, goes much deeper then you think. Let's start of by saying that Marijuana is not illegal. Gee willycurs! Do you really think the US government would allow the amount of weed that is in the united states right now? Surely not. The US government are the ones making the huge harvest of weed. They are the ones who distribute it through out the United States. They play off as it is illegal so they can get the largest profit. You might be saaying that if they legalized it they could earn more money. Absolutely wrong. Even if they taxed it and distributed it across the states, it still would not be as much as the astronomical prices you are paying for such a small amount of weed.
In fact most the 'illegal' drugs you know are in fact legal but are secretly distributed by the government. So now that you know that, how does it connect to 4/20? Well, the government siezing every oppertunity, concockted an underground holliday among weed smokers. 4/20! It will be sort of the like the day after thanksgiving sale but for weed. Always thinking, they even made a false mythology behind it enhanced by things like Hitlers birthday, etc. Well have fun today people, when you praticly just HAND your money to the government.
