way to go, new york times.
speaking of the times, how nice is this: on my fourth day of work, the
times has the interns taken out for a tour of "new york's nooks and
crannies" given by one of their technology reporters, a really neat
guy. i need to write about that more later, when i'm not so tired.
anyway, for those of you who haven't seen it, times square:
the amount of advertising and people are just crazy. one of the most
amazing things is the nasdaq building with screens covering almost the
entire facade (except the windows..) -- simply unbelievable.
my new york looks more like this:
today i walked the entire length of central park, and saw this, the
jackie kennedy onassis reservoir. it's a mile in circumference and
takes up most of the width of the park about halfway up. it's great.
the whole park is great, even though the other bodies of water have
very unoriginal names (the pond, the pool, the lake).
i will write more about my adventures when i am less sleepy.
