Despite running into one or two people determined to have a bad time, the ball was a lot of fun. I would have gone even if they weren't promising us goodies. But on that subject, I can't believe I owned something this nice. I wonder if it was delivered to me by mistake? Jewelry seems more like something a princess would get. Maybe it's Estelle's?

Really? Hmm, you do look like the type of guy who could pull it off, but it would have to be something heavy. Subtle things would probably get lost. Do you know who gave it to you?

I guess I could wear it, but I don't think I'm going to. It's a trinket that grants certain laguz power, but since I remembered having the power already, it might as well be jewelry. But I think it might look better mounted to the wall of my apartment instead of hanging around my neck anyway.

As for how I got it or who gave it to me, I'm not sure. Since I can't use it, it may have been a gift for one of my fellow hawks.

Of course they would. It's the kind of trinket makes you stronger in battle, and there isn't a hawk alive who'd say no to that.

Really? The only attempts I've ever made at magic have been curses. I've never really thought about trying anything else. But that could be a lot of fun! I could find a whole bunch of new ways to punish certain people.

From what I remember, it just works for laguz. You beorc probably have your own magical trinkets.
