a better day
Got my wax melts this morning, they are all so amazingly lucious and I want to burn them all RIGHT NOW but unfortunately I only have 2 tart warmers. Got some samples and such as well as a lot more than I thought I ordered, I will be loving the warming scents they throw throughout the house.
Speaking of warming, the boiler, while still having issues, is being finished off tomorrow. There's a leak which is the reason the boiler can't maintain pressure. The scary noises have finished off at least so we CAN get hot water and such, just can't maintain it without going and adjusting the pressure every time. I came home from a lunch out with a friend today and the wall was bricked up, the tap wasn't leaking, and the heat was on (at that point). It was good, and put me in a productive mood.
I cleaned out my candle closet, pulled out some stuff to use ASAP, and a few things to donate and/or gift. Cleaned out my purse which was dreadful (it's a pretty big vera bradley bag) and organised it all, though it probably does need to be washed at some point. Felt good that I got some stuff done today though, for sure.
Got 2009 diaries for Olly and I today so we can do the TIW2 thing with them, though there's still 2 months to go in 2008 obviously so I can't decide whether we should just use the last 2 months in them and be confused on the day of the week, or just use some other little notebooks we have lying around. Hmmmm. Either way, it's nice to have them, for some reason.
Today was a good day, thinks went right. I need more good days and moods so I can get some REAL things done with my life. Cleaning out a cabinet != applying for grad programs.
