He hesitates a heartbeat before wrapping his arms around Holmes' chest who responds by wriggling into the embrace like a particularly pleased cat. The man is practically purring and Watson presses his lips together with frustration as the warmth starts pooling in places that are not appropriate, especially as the evidence is pressing against Holmes right there and god

Startled, Holmes obeys, pulling off his coat and scrambling to sit with Watson, his back to Watson's chest. Both coats are then pulled atop them, followed by a layer of straw, creating a surprisingly warm cocoon.

So here's what happened. I keep reading wonderfully sad but heartbreaking fics (and bloody published pastiche) instead of doing work so I thought, I wonder if there are any fluffy fics on the kinkmeme to make me happy and distract me from work AND sad fic. AND HERE THIS IS.
