Life at the Quarter Century Mark

turning 25 suffered no significant ill effects. the actual day was pretty pleasant. i caught james' art show, hit up the driving range with bri bri and got to see some woxy folks and plenty of friends at decibal/alchemize. sarrah even got "feel for you" played with a little dedication. on top of all that, i got plenty of baked goodies... pineapple upside cake and apple pie...mmmmmmmmmmm!
the only thing that kicks my ass is my laziness. i haven't been keeping in shape or preparing correctly for hockey. the worst is not getting my resume done. i'm slowly coming to terms with the terrible complacency larosa's has instilled in me. it's so easy it's actually discouraging to pursue something more fulfilling just because it'll require adjustment and relearning. nuts to all that.
i did just finish my resume. tomorrow i'll send it off and cross me fingers.
tomorrow's also the state wars tryouts. it might end up that even if i do make the team, no one i know will be on it. it's expensive too, but i want the experience. i don't care if we'd get our asses handed to us. the thought of playing hockey up in chicago's just incredible. my only hope is that if i'd get this job, the work schedule wouldn't prevent me going. of course, that being said, i might not make the team or get the job. megh.

my allergies are creeping up at me so i'm gonna take some gampfer advice and grab some alfalfa pills. here's hoping. sick's a drag.

in other news, i've collaborated on a video with a pal, so if it's possible no one's seen it.

if i could keep myself on my tasks, i'd be super satisfied right now.
