Just noticed that I forgot to mention this: You remember that job I was leaving? Well, I left that job on a Friday. On the following Monday, I interviewed with a company for a completely different job. And on that Friday, they sent me an offer letter.
I wasn't even out long enough to file for unemployment.
I am the luckiest sonuvabitch on the Eastern Seaboard, and don't think I'm not aware of it.
Anyway, I've been at the new gig for over four months now, and we're getting along famously. No need to worry about me. (Of course, since I'm talking to myself here, there's no need to worry about someone worrying about me.)
But things are good, for the record.
