Xmas in Atlanta
It's been nice visiting my parents. Twice a year isn't enough but it was my decision to move to Toronto so I'll take what I can get. I wish I could afford to travel down to my parents more often.
For Xmas, my Dad and I got my Mom a gold necklace with an aquamarine birthstone set in gold which she liked. She also got a DVD collection of Anne of Green Gables that was apparently difficult to find. My Mom and I got my Dad 3 nice sweaters, a pair of casual pants, a housecoat and a pair of slippers. It still remains difficult to get things for parents because they seem to have whatever they want or need. Maybe from their perspective the same applies to me. Thanks to their generosity, I now have an iPhone as well as some shirts.
I'll be here for New Year's Eve and then will be returning to Toronto on New Year's Day.
