"Those are the outfits they wear when they kiss!"

Megacon rocked... what little I saw of it. The last day was supposed to have a concert, but since Dustin's leave started then, I must be mature and sacrifice fun for love. It was a tough decision, I'm sad to say. I actually thought about staying, but I called Dustin and he was pissed. Of course, when I am away, he is always pissed at everyone. When we saw each other, he apologized and everything was okay. Don't think I am being stepped on, I just don't see the point in getting angry or holding a grudge (as my fellow goddess Althea knows, it causes death). It only makes things worse. Of course, Dusty is the opposite, but I try to understand. At any rate, Dots and I won the costume contest. We got an award called "String Chi's". She was dark Chi (Freya) and I was light Chi (Chi) from Chobits. I still like to wear the ears... I'm sorry... The "ports". We were tied together for most of the day. By the time it was all done, I kinda got used to her being on my left side.
And SWEET JESUS! The PICTURES! Oh, so many people wanted pictures... Mostly young fanboys/girls or forty year old men... And then there was the creepy effect of what I like to call the "chi echo". Random people would say "chi" and it would ping-pong its way through the crowd. Really confusing and creepy. However we got a lot of attention. Radio Justice interviewed us and we even promoted the up and coming "SPOONMAN"
I saw one awesome Spike there. He really looked the part (For those of you who cannot tell, Spike is one of my favorite characters). We kept on running into each other, and on some occasions, quite literally. I even got to know some transformers, Optimus Prime and Megatron, whose costumes were made entirely out of Mountain Dew cans and boxes. They even sang with Dots and I while we were waiting in line for the costume show. A rousing round of "I am a Man of Constant Sorrow" by the Soggy Bottom Boys and a few other songs from that movie (Yes, that's right, it's from O, Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Dots premiered her vocal talents in Stand By Me, as I provided background and percussion (as we all know I cannot sing).
All in all, I'm doing it again next year, and dragging Dustin along with me, who is going as Solid Snake.
