Spent the entire summer - actually, it's still summer, but that's not the point. I spent the entire summer having a bit of a fandom existential crisis, going from "oh god I'm so irrelevant and outdated and useless why do I even bother trying" to "Teen Wolf I am judging you from very, very, very, very far away - I just drew something Sterek, shit".
So here's what I came up with:
- I no longer identify with the bigger TRON things like Uprising and what's canon/fanon and who's into what politics
- all I really care about is my Pilots!verse and my Princess Bride AU
- I just care about Pilots!verse Sam/Tron
- I still don't know if I'm gonna watch Teen Wolf but by god I will read all the fic AND LIKE IT
- reading Teen Wolf fic fuels my writing mojo will becomes Tron fic
- I might have finally emerged from my really awful monthlong writer's/artist's block thanks to Teen Wolf
- I intend to write a post about Howrse and Howrse the society - politics, economy, culture - and why I've been so absent from my networks
- I still need to write the second half of "Howl"
- I no longer know what the point of this list is
... and that's pretty much about it. I'm pretty happy reading Teen Wolf fic and using that happiness to write Sam/Tron, and there's a very self-indulgent Sam/Tron ficlet ("-let" being subjective here) in the future that'll also hopefully set the stage for "Season of Poison".
Seriously, though, I can go on and on about Howrse like I can go on and on about... horses.
And now "fandom: teen wolf" makes its debut on my tag list oh god it's the end of fandom life as I know it.
