Mysterion!
Fuck you South Park for making me want to look up fics featuring Mysterion. And another fuck you for making me want to read/write Dean/Cas superhero AUs. ffffffffffffffffffff
Busy getting talked tweeted into writing one. I don't even know where to begin. I just want to write one in the spirit of Mysterion and the Coon. What is my life.
eta: capstweeting this AU has apparently sealed my fate. Question was whether or not I go the Batman reboot/Watchmen route or the DC/Marvel route. Besides comparing Sam to Peter Parker/Spiderman with a dose of Hulk there's also the unf factor of an Iron Man!Dean or a Cap!Dean. I mean, Cas is already John Constantine so...I still really fucking want Jensen!Cap/RDJ!Stark. Not that I have anything against Chris Evans. He's lookin' fine as our Captain America. I just...happen to like looking at Jensen. A lot.

ha ha oh god the idea of Constantine!Cas unmasking Captain!Dean (does he still wear his stupid mask or is he wearing the helmet like in the movie???) and then making out or something oh good lord
Anyway, I can go superhero/civilian route but that's been overdone seven ways from Sunday. I can do superhero/superhero, or two civilians chasing after a superhero, or two civilians chasing after said superhero except one of them's also a superhero? Or, my favorite, superhero/civilian-that-actually-has-superpowers. Obviously that would require me going the Batman reboot/Watchmen route. I don't think I can keep a straight face if I tried to write an SPN superhero AU the Marvel way. I would die of laughter. THE SPANDEX.
