Winter Drama Rumors - Surprised and Somewhat Pissed
So I was looking around around d-addicts for Ohitorisama 05 and for some reason I started to look around the internets to see what series are going to air next drama season, when I happened upon this: http://www.japanator.com/winter-drama-rumors-include-gokusen-4-code-blue-2-and-more-11604.phtml
Code Blue season 2!?!? Are you freaking kidding me.
Now, I love Yamapi, he is damn cute and I like most of his dramas, but Code Blue is the last series I would want to have a second season. Why? because it wasn't good!! It started quite well but little by little it became a drag to watch. The character development was bad, every character was one-dimensional (a main character that doesn't have a background story?) and the storyline was god-awful, in short it was less than mediocre.
And that sucks because I had high expectations for this drama because the cast was very good, but in the end, I got shot down by the shitty writing. ;_;
But even if I dislike this, I might watch it, if I happen to be on a masochistic state of mind. XD
Next WTF?!!?
Gokusen season 4? I wasn't expecting this but I'm not that surprised that it might happen.
Surprisingly enough I've watch all three seasons (masochist) and my favorite was the 1st by far. I mean MatsuJun as the cool delinquent! Yes, please!!
The problem with the next 2 seasosn was that they were exactly the same. Conflict arises, fight starts, Yankumi save the day, Yankumi gives a speech, one more student start trusting her, lather, rinse, repeat...
But this is were I facepalmed: Nakama Yukie isn't listed on the cast!! *le gasp
So, if you're not going to have Nakama Yukie, what the heck are you going to do about Yankumi? Yankumi is the principal character, there's no Gokusen without Yankumi!! Now, I know you too (writers) are trying to milk this franchise dry, but at least do it right. If you're not going to have Yukie, you might as well make a whole different series. = =;
Either way there's no way in hell I'm watching this one, I already sat through 3 and I'm not doing it again.
And here's where things get good!!... at least for me. xD

I really liked the first season and I really want a second season!! So dear TBS and lovely writers, don't shot me down and make a 2nd season.

Fukuyama Masaharu = cool, talented singer and actor, and damn handsome and sexy.
He is going to star on Ryomaden, which happens to be taiga drama, so I'm suffering here since I want to watch but I kinda don't because it's going to be a year long, but then he is so sexy..... OTL
So what do this damn rumors mean for me? It means that I'm gonna have to suffer until January 2010 to see if the writers make my wish come true and actually make a 2nd season of Bloody Monday, if they are going to milk the cow dry and make a Gokusen 4 (sans Yankumi), and whether or not they screw up again and make Code Blue 2 as shitty as the 1st one.
