Oh. My. God.
Please, someone tell me you're keeping up with the Batfamily at the moment? I may trufax explode if I don't get to flail at someone re: the glee the new Dynamic Duo is bringing me! &THEM;
Elsewhere, Blackest Night is giving me a headache, both with the gigantic cast of Characters We'll Probably Never Hear From Again and the unsurprising but depressing constant referencing to every fridged girlfriend in the history of the DCU. Oh, and Identity Crisis, because that was such a good time for everyone... oh, wait. Regardless, I'm enjoying it more than not, but don't ask me to make sense of the timeline or anything. Just keep the zombies coming.
I haven't touched the Arrow books since they whitewashed Connor, gave him magical amnesia that wiped his personality and finally put him on a bus along with Mia. I hear Mia's recently come back, which, depending how that goes, might be enough of a reason to get re-invested. Of course, in whatever title Roy is currently in, he's only mostly dead or something to that effect. I'd rather not know--it's easier to go la-la-lah I-can't-hear-you if I'm fuzzy on the details. Mia for Roy is a damn harsh trade, because I totally love them just about equally.
Isn't it funny how I haven't been a comics person for all that long, but I've taken to the bitching like a lifelong devotee? Just awesome. On which note, it breaks me that Kon is back from dead and as far as I've seen, Tim pretty much doesn't care anymore. In that way I actually liked it better when he was dead. Not that I know when and where and how on Earth he did return, which is something I should probably check out. Wasn't so long ago that I was absolutely overinvested in getting him back myself. And Bart. Neither of which returns has really rocked my world, after all. Can't always get what you want?
P.S. New Authority is apparently out, and I can't get my hands on it right now and this is distressing the fuck out of me because shit has gotten very real there and I need to see them fix that one thing that was horrifically, depressingly, painfully broken in previous issue, okay. And I refuse to look at the Scans Daily post before I've read the issue. Please to provide right the hell now, Internets!
Dammit all to hell. Mucked about trying to find scans for like an hour. No such luck, so read the post and now I'm considerably less anxious to get the issue. Man.
I'll just keep adding to this entry, shan't I. Based on Red Robin and Adventure Comics #3, now positively dying for post-resurrection, post-Bruce's death Tim/Kon. Or, hell, just Tim accepting his best friend back though to be fair, AC delivered there. He still needs a hug, okay. (And hair-kissing. Way to fail at brothers, Grayson.) Have I mentioned I hate the new Dynamic Duo being fifteen kinds of awesome somewhat at Tim's expense?
