Not a good start...

I've been staring at the subject line for ten minutes wondering what to put; ah well who cares.

Now update, what's happened since more or less the beginning of March. Well we finally got the editorials part of the site up and running so that should be nice and self-contained.

The forums are still their usual breeding ground of inanity and uselessness. I keep meaning to clear out all the rubbish from some forums (I did start on the Character Questions); but the more I start, the more I feel that most of the posts should be removed.

Kuromimi left the administration so I tried to restructure it so that pressure would be relieved and if necessary people could train their replacements before leaving the site. This means job advertising, when people can be bothered to get around to it (he said critically) so we'll see how that goes. From the response to the only section advertised so far [Translation] then probably not so well.

Game wise then I finished Shadow Hearts: Covenant, which was not as good as its predecessor, mainly due to the game's atmosphere; and also The Bard's Tale which was entertaining at points, but not often enough. Import wise I finished Xenosaga and then Xenosaga II, but cannot be bothered with the after game stuff at the moment.

Since then I've been flitting through old titles and remembering why I dropped playing them to begin with, so Im about an hour or so further in several games. I can't even get worked up about ShinMegamiTensai: Nocturne which I did import but then got annoyed with, especially when I found out I should have been switching the magic thingies each level.

Finally I bought Haunting Ground the other day, and it confirms two things: firstly I'm bad a Survival Horror games in general and I still don't find it to be excessively scary. At least it doesn't have any zombies in it, which have never made sense to me in any game or film to date.
Maybe I'll try it again later, but as soon as the the heroine gets seperated from the dog then I get into trouble.
