a mind open to many;
a heart open to few?

need to get off the loop.

in other unrelated news, I got some really delicious chinese takeout from din tai fung tonight as part of my "war rations to fight the flu": october 2010 version :

superior chicken broth with wantons and freshly made/sliced noodles
(ramen thickness);
2 servings vegetarian delight (beancurd, cabbage, rice noodles, peppers and other stringy shredded vegetables marinated in vinegar dressing);
egg fried rice;
steamed xiao long bao;
garlic spinach;

add to that 8 yakitori teriyaki chicken sticks and a plain white rice

and california navel oranges;
baby red delicious ("royal") apples;
oceanspray cran-grape juice;
Post raisin-pecan-granola cereal;
peanut butter;
milk;
bellpeppers;
new hummos;
baby peeled carrots;

not to mention the cherry tomatoes, rest of the goat cheese and balsamic/virgin olive oil I bought earlier in the week....

foodwise, I won't need to leave my house til monday morning!
lifewise, I probably need to leave sunday night to help the b'nai mitzvah kids....

also, sugar is a drug and I'm trying not to give in.
