hey, summer.
My computer's getting much, much worse. Goddamnit, Toshiya. STOP EATING LEAD PAINT. It refused to work properly yesterday, so I just left it alone & let the battery die. Windows always tries to make me run a disk check, but when I do that it deletes important registry files I need to run the damn thing properly. That's how I'm locked out of using iTunes & Photoshop. I'm getting to the point of not caring anymore, that's how much this piece of shit frustrates me. So if I'm not online, please do not panic.. It's sad I have to say that, but I'm so used to people drawing stupid conclusions about how I spend my spare time that it bears repeating. I'm simply using my time to hunt for a second job, attend summer classes, & enjoy the outdoors. That's how I've spent the past day & a half, & hot damn is it relaxing aside from the humidity. My hair officially has declared war against anything I do with it.
Summer classes started today, & Music Appreciation looks like it'll be SO much easier than I expected. Five of us in the class, nervous but nice professor, & a huge empty lecture room in Mason. Yep. We went over basic music definitions & dynamics symbols.. if that's any indication of how simple we're starting. I think I was the only one having a Hermione moment of OMGDUDEIKNOWTHIS! *armstretch*. There is a textbook I was unaware of. D: We had reading assignments tonight for tomorrow, but since the bookstore closed at 4 when class got out at 4:10.. yeah, not so great.
Yknow what's also not so great? Not being able to log into my student email or ANGEL. My other class, Organizational Behavior, is completely ANGEL-based, & without it I'm basically screwed. I previously had my network login disabled while I wasn't an active student, but you'd think since I was readmitted last month & enrolled in Summer classes that they'd fix it right back up. Apparently not. Our first assignment & quiz for OB are due tomorrow, & so far I've had no luck getting my network account fixed. FREDONIA FAIL.
If that wasn't enough, the only way I can submit a request to get my account fixed is to use FredQuest. I already dislike this compared to the old procedure of contacting Resnet, but that's a different story. Well, in order to submit a request, I apparently need to login with my network info..
..which is EXACTLY what I'm having trouble with. So in order to fix a network login problem, I need to not have said problem to get a solution.
Did I mention I'm on the rag, experiencing extreme paranoia about people being mad at me for no reason, & not handling this extreme humidity very well on top of it all?
