Been following the fandom for several years now, know about most you ladies, but thanks for writing this. A nicely brought together explanation and collection of what there is out there for the fandom.

I always forget that Edgar shows up at the beginning of the second issue; it always seems to come later in the series when I think back, for some reason, haha. It would be great to see the fandom come back to life a little bit after this. But it seems to be doing well enough either way. :)

I read JtHM a few years ago, loved it, and kind of put it aside and didn't look for the fanworks... gah, I was missing out. I'm now on the tenth chapter of Song Without a Name, and I'm looking forward to reading the other fics you've recommended here, too ( ... )

Amazing, absolutely brilliant manifesto on the one true pair I can see in this series. I thought they really had something tangible there, when I saw those pages in the back-issues.
