Prompt - pain. All rated G. Team of choice - Bayern Munich (duh!)
Title: K-und-K-Sturm
Characters: Miroslav Klose and Ivan Klasnić.
Notes: The title is a phrase coined by Bremen supporters. It refers to the partnership of two strikers - Miroslav Klose and Ivan Klasnić. Literally, it means ‘K-and-K Storm.’ I hope I wrote this right.
The return to his former home ground evokes a myriad of emotions.
Relief that Clemens and Per have forgiven him for transferring to Bayern. Sorrow at Torsten’s pointed civility. Pain when he hears himself being booed as he steps onto the pitch.
Moving to Bayern was the right choice, but there are several things unique to Bremen that he will never experience again.
He catches sight of a familiar face in the crowd. With a strange look in his eyes, Ivan Klasnić watches him.
Then, the pain comes full force as he realizes that the “K-und-K-Sturm” will never appear again.

Finally, after six long months, he can train properly without feeling pain course through his body. The kidney received from his father is working well.
It feels strange, though, practicing set plays without Miroslav. He remembers that phone call.
“Miroslav?”
“I’m sorry, Ivan. I’m transferring to Bayern.”
He felt cold all of a sudden, goodness knows why.
“When?”
“It’ll be official tomorrow.”
“I see. All the best.”
“Ivan, I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright. I understand.”
“Get well soon. Goodbye.”
He ended the call, chafing at the transiency of football.
The more he trains, the more he adjusts to playing without Miroslav.

Notes: I know nothing about Serie A players besides Kaka. Thus, I don’t know who’s the character in this drabble, except that he's a Serie A player. Day after day, more information hits the news regarding Serie A’s match-fixing scandal. Accusations are hurled, people claim to be innocent and suspicion abounds.
He has no guilty conscience to plague him. He just hopes that no one from his team was directly involved in match-fixing.
A panel is formed to verify the allegations put forward by various people and to ascertain the guilty parties. It drags on for days.
The verdict makes the front page headlines.
“Juventus stripped of 2005 and 2006 titles and relegated to Serie B”
He can only imagine the pain of the innocent players involved.
I especially need constructive criticism for the Klose&Klasnic ones, believe me. Because um.. I know almost nothing about Klasnic's personality, and I never actually watched K-und-K Sturm. I know even less about Serie A, but well, whatever. ><
