You know, I was pretty sanguine about the whole credit transfer difficulty; and then Cingular cut me off while I was leaving a voice mail. Spent the entire morning and part of the afternoon searching for what apparently is a professor's ghost at the university, but I was okay; snow, wind, cold, the specter of and ultimate need to parallel park when I finally found a space; and in the end the futility of my trip - no bother (pretty much. I think listening to Phish on the way home helped: Billy Breathes and Prince Caspian soothe the soul). But I really hate Cingular (or whatever it's called now).
On the plus side, I apparently still can parallel park though it's been seven years since I last attempted it (pleasant surprise, that). I also finally got a course catalog and schedule (amazing how you can register for classes and barely know a thing about them). (>_>) I think my bro has my original; still not sure where he's going in the fall, so he can hold on to it. May be able to test out of English as I did back at Harcum; I mean, if after three years of college I've yet to get a complaint about sentence structure or term paper format, I think that conveys a certain something. That something being that I don't want to pay for English courses I - according to Harcum - don't need (plus, it's all freshman; I should be a junior, damn it). True, I'm a bit long-winded, but I can pare it down if need be; and most professors allowed for controlled bursts of scholarly enthusiasm, as it were. (I didn't go too crazy; usually just a couple extra pages.)
Hey, and the prof I need to talk to in hopes of getting credit for my vet courses is a vet herself! That's gotta help, right? (If it doesn't, I'm going to be in such a bad mood Monday.)
