Teaching today's intellectual property class at the Atelier really makes me wonder which is worse: the companies actively trying to screw over new creators, or those new creators who will allow themselves to be screwed over because they want their names in light at any cost

Why is the Japanese government, after having recently realized that anime and manga have become a global phenomenon and a vector through which Japanese culture and influence can spread around the world, now so readily hellbent on destroying it? Oh, Liz, either you're going to need to create an overmuscled heavy for ARC, or you may have to revise Bear to be a bit tougher than he is for the TATARI slot.
...but someone decided that I strangely knew enough about computer modeling and CG works to give a lecture on it at the Graphic Novel Art class at Northern Virginia Community College's Loudoun campus today. It was going to be a chance to wave both the Megami flag and maybe get in a mention or two of AnimeUSA and other stuff.
Well, it's been tough, but we ultimately had to do it: Hana Road Fruit Party and its proposed sequel are currently on hold right now, with no determinate time as to when they will come out
