So I recently bought the new Tama-Go Tamagotchi (I know it's probably a couple years old now, but it's still the newest one that's not Japan-exclusive). I got the black one with the Mametchi figure. I like the interchangeable faceplate feature of these, because I can make my own, since they're just made of paper. So that was one of the first things I did. I just didn't really like the one that came with mine. Here's a pic:
It's got a couple Chao on it from the Sonic Adventure games! My tama was a teen in this pic, called Kilalatchi. But just a little while ago, he evolved into KuroMametchi! That was so cool, because I really wanted him! He evolved while he was asleep though(?), so I'll take a picture of him tomorrow when he's awake. I actually really enjoy going online to Tamatown with him, even though it's pretty kiddy and silly. It's somehow still a lot of fun to me.
I was afraid I wouldn't like this tamagotchi at first, but after a day or two, I decided I did. I do miss the job feature from the older versions, and the being able to buy and use items. But one nice feature, is when you're flipping through your food menu, it shows your character to the side, and if you pass their favorite food, it shows them cheering instead of their regular standing pose. I can only assume that it does something similar if you select their least favorite food (with them frowning instead?)
In other news, my v4.5 tamagotchi (the peacock feather one in my last post) is in the 3rd gen now (Shitekitchi was the first). It had turned into Horoyotchi for my gen2 adult, and for the 3rd, it had turned into UraMemetchi! Then I wanted to try to get Hanagatatchi by maxing out her gorgeous points, but she suddenly evolved anyway, even though I only had about 350! (Or 250, I don't remember). So that was the first time I ever got a rare character like that, so I love my Hanagatatchi! Anyway, I guess that's it for now, so for your viewing entertainment, I present my Hanagatatchi wearing a skirt!
