Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Firefly, Dollhouse, Doctor Who from 2005 on, Torchwood for everything except Miracle Day, and probably Touched by an Angel as well.
Name a (current) show you can't miss:
House and Ringer. Shush, everyone. I like it.
Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Any Whedon actor (Alan Tudyk, Amy Acker, Enver Gjokaj, Nathan Fillion, etc etc). Matt Smith. Jamie Bamber. There's a nice longer list elsewhere. xD
Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Uh.. nobody, really.
Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
Nothing really super quotable, but I say lines from Firefly and Doctor Who semi-regularly.
Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Touched by an Angel would be my obvious choice, because more 'obscure' things like IT Crowd I actually know people who like it.
Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
I rock out to the various Doctor Who themes, although they're wordless.. I almost always sing along to Firefly, Luther, Misfits (I'm still learning the words).
Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
QI ALL THE WAY YOU CAN'T NOT LIKE IT. Luther. Misfits. IT Crowd.
Name TV series you own on DVD:
Firefly, Doctor Who (some of it on DVD and VHS, those things are expensive!).. and that's sort of it. I used to have all of Buffy, Angel, and Dollhouse on my harddrive before the Great Crash of 2011.
Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium, but has surprised you with his/her acting choices in television:
No idea, really. Nobody that's surprised me, anyways. I called the Idina-Menzel-on-Glee thing from Day-freaking-One. And was not surprised in the least with the casting for Jessie St. James. XD
What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?:
OUCH. I can't pick one favorite series and from those I can't pick a single episode. It always varies. Doctor Who, "The Doctor's Wife". Neil Gaiman ilu.
A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Uhh.. Jeeves and Wooster, Doogie Howser, the rest of Fringe past s2, the rest of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Shows that I've seen at least half a season or more but never had time to finish. Possibly Big Bang Theory or Studio 60 although neither is really my style.
Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?:
Heck yes. Or the TV quit airing it because it was so bad.
Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Oh geez. WHEDOOOONNNN *shakes fist* Firefly, Dollhouse, Buffy and Angel all qualify.
See also: Doctor Who, House, Touched by an Angel, Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures.
What’s your current unpopular TV opinion?:
Kurt/Blaine annoys me (or just both of them separately do), Finn's annoying, and I'm starting to really dislike 90% of Glee in general. :/
Oldest TV show you like?:
Classic Who, probably, although I really like older American shows like I Love Lucy, The Dick van Dyke show..
Newest TV show you like?:
Ringer, probably. I'm still looking forward to 'Awake' to air, or whatever it's called with Jason Isaacs.
What do you eat when you watch TV?:
Food, really. xD
Uh, probably an actual meal as any other time I'm either party watching or cross-stitching during a show, or so enveloped that I can't do anything but watch.
How often do you watch TV?:
I haven't sat down in front of a television for half a month now, but I've watched sporadic episodes of things here and there over the course of this week.. so not very often anymore.
Do you have a favorite talk show?
I mostly watch here and there purely for the guest actors, but Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is totally my fave overall.
What's the last TV show you watched?:
Battlestar Galactica. And I'm finishing the series - finally - tomorrow.
What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?:
Sci-fi/fantasy
What's your least favourite genre of TV?:
Sitcoms, 99% of reality television, and soap operas.
What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?:
Probably a tie between Whose Line is it Anyway (I'd sneak behind the door as a kid to stay up and watch it when I was little), Wishbone, Mr. Rogers, and Touched by an Angel. I also had a fond liking of Xena but parents didn't always let me stay up for it.
What will turn you off the fastest from a TV show?:
I always try to give the show at least three episodes before I quit it for real, but if the plot or acting is thoroughly boring, or for established shows, major character derailment (hi Heroes, I'm looking at you)
What TV show do you wish you never watched?:
Torchwood: Children of Earth and Miracle Day? I mean, at least the first two seasons were snarkable to a point and even fairly well done at their best. These miniseries were both TERRIBLE in every way and I couldn't even properly snark or remotely enjoy some of it.
What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?:
Misfits is pretty weird in my book, but I love it. Secret Diary of a Call Girl is also strange and strangely addicting.
What TV show scared you the most?:
Nothing really. I've gotten incredibly caught up emotionally in TV shows but nothing has made me actually frightened in real life.
What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?:
I don't even know. xD QI. QI CRACKS ME UP.
Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?:
Impossible question. :P
