The Elias School's girls decided to have a camping trip to celebrate the end of the school year. Greta was excited to go, but Cassie couldn't because of Titan business. Fortunately, Cissie was free and shared a tent with Greta.
As night fell, the other girls made a camp fire, and as they sat around it, they started to tell 'scary' ghost stories. Cissie passed on her turn, and midway through the next girl's turn, Greta let out a giggle. Everyone turned to her, glaring except for Cissie.
“What's so funny about my scary story?” the girl that had been telling the story asked unhappily.
Greta hadn't meant to laugh, so she was about to apologize when Cissie elbowed her and cut in. “Because Greta's knows scarier ghost stories than that!” Cissie claimed as Greta's eye widened; Cissie leaned in to whisper in Greta's ear. “C'mon, Greta. You were a ghost. You have plenty of stories to tell to scare the pants of this preppy girls.”
Cissie pulled away as everyone looked at Greta expectantly. Greta took a deep breath, and started with the story of how she died and how her brother was killed by their father. After that, she just continued about how her brother continued to torture his sister, even after death. She embellished here and there, but not by much, and she didn't embellish at all when she spoke of Apokolips and Darkseid.
When she was done, she and Cissie secretly shared a look as most of the girls ran off to their tents. Once the other girls were done, Greta and Cissie broke down into a fit of giggles.
