Soo... everyone sounds like they are PMSing to the extreme. XD I kinda don't mind Kory's reaction, it's understandable but I don't want Wally(?) betraying his poor family. D=
Yeah, they're all acting like they're teens again. They dropped that part of the team name! It's just Titans now. And wow, they still have all this pmising WITHOUT Dick around? Eep. I really hope Wally isn't cheating. He did admit to kissing another woman in that prove yourself by telling the machine things you never told anyone.
Now, I could understand if the first guy was Roy, but I'd want to get that artist's head on a chopping block if it was. I mean, really? Roy has FIVE bullet scars and a heart surgery scar, not to mention his upper arm tattoo. Those are very good ways the artist to make sure we don't confuse Roy and Wally!
...hey, look at that. All of them pmsing is making me do it too! >>;; Yeah, Kory's reaction was justified and very human. She's the only one who's not being silly in this, excapet for maybe Gar, but the poor thing got his heart crushed. :/
The first guy's supposed to be Roy, I'm pretty sure. It wouldn't make sense for it to be Wally. The art was insanely bad, though. It wasn't that they looked the same, it's that they looked different from appearance to appearance.
It would have been vastly improved if Donna and Kory made out. Just sayin'.
Ugh, if that's true, I need that artist to go away. Roy has very telling scars and tattoo when his shirt is off. So one, he'd probably never do that without a shirt on and two, they weren't there! :/ Those scars aren't going to go away.
Though, I haven't seen the scars outside of Outsiders, but the tattoo on his arm has been in his Arsenal mini-series when he got it, earlier Titans, and in Outsiders. >_<;; Still makes me think it's Wally. Ugh, my brain hurts. @_@;;
Addendum: I agree completely. Donna totally invited her to a romantic field in the middle of nowhere just for that purpose. It just happens off-panel. That's my canon, and I'm sticking by it. (It would have been the bright spot in that issue, seriously.)
I agree the art was very confusing, but I actually really enjoyed the writing, especially the conversations between Donna and Roy, Donna and Kory, and Gar and Raven. The last Gar/Raven scene in particular was a doozy! McKeever made me feel like these are people who really care about each other, which has been pretty lacking in the series to date.
But I do wish the art had been better. Not only was it hard to distinguish Roy from Wally, but Raven and Donna looked too much the same. Raven in particular was rendered really poorly. She looked like freaking Batman when she was standing on that rooftop! Kory looked nice in those flying scenes, and some of Gar's animal transformations looked okay, but otherwise the artwork looked really sloppy and the facial expressions were weird.
I did like the writing, but being an art oriented person and having friends who draw magnificently, the art really took away from the writing. It distracted me greatly.
I agree about Raven and Donna, but the writing made them distinguishable right away. When I first flipped through this comic at a store on Wednesday, me and my friend were so very confused. Usually, I can flip through a comic without reading and get the gist. There was no way to do that with this issue. The art style is okay (it was weird, but I kinda liked it a little), but it needs to evolve to the point where character are distinguishable sans costume. :/
Kory is the sane one. Now, she has just got to suggest a Titan orgy, so they can work out their issues. That'd be the SANE thing to do. ^-^
Haha, I think reading your LJ has made me pick up your bitterness abut Dick/Babs. I can't really stand it. >>;;
>:O Argh. That's annoying! Just because they can't simply LOOK up stuff for their artists doesn't mean it should retconned! At least the bullet scars! And the heart surgery! ARGH! *throws a fit* He would never be a shitty dad. This is so wrong. (Though, considering the color fail, it could have been Lian in the bed; it was a red-head girl, and Lian was a red-headed baby, @_@)
Yeah, Donna deserved that a bit. Your issues make you fun! ^-^;; And doesn't nearly add up to my Batman issues. >>;;
And yeah, Kory, Dick doesn't love you anymore because has to go back to the woman he was wanking to at thirteen. *is BITTTER.* Ahem.
GOD WHY. Babs and Dick act like such assholes around each other. Every time they date I feel like I'm watching Batgirl and Robin be 14/18 again. It makes me insane, and is such a waste. And frankly, can we skip the fucking bullshit romance crap for this year? They lost their dad, and have to take over the city, I don't care about Dick needing to love Babs. Stop fucking around.
You know for comics that are supposed to be based at guys, there is way too much girly shit in them. uhh. sorry.

And yes, I choose to believe it too. You know Kory would do it, too.
