What was my life like?

I'm not usually the morose type, but I was pondering my situation this afternoon and had the thought, "If I ever can't remember my life, I'd like someone to describe this afternoon to me as an example.
"

You were tired from having spent the majority of the night entertaining the boy. After 2 hours of sleep, you went to work but were unproductive enough that you decided to take a 1/2 a sick day and come home.
Lunch was unremarkable, being turkey and cheese on a bagel.

At that point the boy had also finished feeding and to give mom a break, you took the him and lay down in the hammock. The boy snuggling to your chest for comfort. You held him close as you pulled up the wool blanket to keep out the late October chill, and you both enjoyed the diffuse overcast light drifting down through the blinds.

Giving the hammock a push, you both swung back and forth. The boy soon drifted into a light sleep and you lay there listening to his breathing, rubbing the soft skin of his back, and playing with his tiny little toes. Eventually you too gave way to the slow rocking motion and slept.

An hour later, the SO sat down in the far side of the hammock, and you put your feet up in her lap. You chatted about small things of the day. The boy squirmed and settled in various positions, still warm from the blanket and the crook of your arm, eventually falling asleep again.

Early afternoon changed to a lazy mid-afternoon with the changing of the angle of the sun. Eventually the scene broke up with the cries of a hungry child. You had a small crick in your neck, and a light ache in your knee from the way you were sitting, but you were able to look at the situation while you were there and know that it would be one of the times you would want someone to tell you about if you about if you were to forget.

And it was good.

It's good to have a record of at least a few.
