I have to tinkle
I sent all of my documents off to Korea. So, away they went and despite my stupidity to send them faster I think they'll still get there next Monday. Sending things internationally is a bitch. It was over 100 bucks just to send .34 lbs. Can't imagine what it'd be to send some clothes, or a fan, or something like that.
My parents are making me a bit nervous now. I was just concentrating on lists, packing, documents and that sort of thing but the parents got to me sentimentally.
Mom spoke with me a few days ago and did her joking sad voice and said "You're going to be so far away....and I can't just call you anymore."
Father spoke with me last night and gave me a big hug and said that he was proud of me but that he'd really miss me.
My sister...oddly enough, hasn't said anything and she's usually the one to sort of shun me for awhile until she realizes I'll be gone.
My brother has his own concerns but he just misses family.
This go around I'll try to make more of an effort to call the family. I'll try to call every Sunday and make videos and take pictures. Really...ha, that's basically my website.
While I can't promise to actually work on it tonight because I'm on a "Burn Notice" kick, the several weekends of nothing that I'll have off I definitely work on it then.
Rian said I need to draw more and has given me an assignment, read her....OMG IDEA! lemme finish this thought first...she said to read her story and illustrate it. I'm not really an illustrator but comics are kinda illustrations so...I'll take on the challenge. Oh yea, my idea was that I turn it into a story board. Not quite as pretty but just a fun.
