I'm exhausted (난 지쳤어)
That probably doesn't say what I'd wish it says.
Today was...well this week was very long.
For those of you that have been paying attention I had an interview on Sunday and thought I would be informed on Monday or Tuesday about the position...no go. Then Wednesday rolled around and emails were tossed back and forth and no go. The lady asked if I had any more questions before making her final decision and Thursday rolls around...no go. FINALLY, Boy-recruiter gets fed up (I assume) and calls Ms. M. She makes her final decision. Of course I knew none of this....
Most of today...okay all of today I was still upset with Bosslady, luckily her mom was there and I like her mom. She seems like a very wordly and polite woman, pretty much nothing like her daughter. Anywho...I decide to take an incredibly late lunch. I'm running around trying to get cards for my brother and food for dinner and lunch and I get a call from boy-recruiter who says Ms. M made her final decision and would like you to join her team of teachers. Of course I'm estatic and he says he'll send the contract my way.
Once I send the contract and my papers I'm good to go. I'm planning on leaving on October 1st My first day is October 6th and I leave/quit work on September 12th so lots of free time.
Expect a going away brunch to be happening quite soon. Because I like brunch....and can't cook BBQ food so.....there.
P.S. Tickets to Korea are friggin expensive.
