so gidd got a new video card for his birthday yesterday. he and i had the same old video card, which works well for me, but he needed something better for his dual monitor for workness. my motherboard supports sli, so i took his old video card. mmmm, twice the goodness. glad i keep all the extra stuff that comes with a computer when i make them. my powersupply has a lot of ata power cords, so i had to get a splicer for a serial power plug, and redo how my fans were plugged in to get a two serial to one 6-pin connector installed so i could plug in the second card, but that wasn't too bad. thank goodness we still have hsc around, or that would have sucked.

tomorrow's we have the august people's b-day bbq that we're going to, and then i just have to wait for school to start. just waiting for one more book to arrive, and i'm good.
