in case you were wondering
Man. If anyone thought a BFA on it's own would be useless, imagine this: a BFA with a concentration in drawing and painting....and an equine sciences minor.
It would basically be a dream come true, except it would be just about as useless as picking up an english minor or something. Hah. But it would be so cool to work with horsies all the time. And being a vet hasn't been a viable option since I was like 4 when I discovered that sometimes animals die, and some other times you have to give them shots, and then reinforced by the fact that you need to take lots of complicated science and spend a thousand years in school. Though maybe I could try to work at Monmouth Park this summer. I think I've perused this before.
In other news I saw Frank Warren from Postsecret tonight, he spoke in the HUB. It was pretty good. The first part was kind of boring but it picked up when he started showing actual secrets and then when people got up and shared theirs. It really is a really cool website and an awesome idea, and some of the stuff people send in is just fantastic artistically, not to mention profound and moving emotionally.
And finally me, Addie, Becky and Missy just spent two hours playing a Pennsylvania Dutch card game .....and basically trying to kill each other. And accusing Missy of cheating (she totally was). And being assholes. It eventually evolved into "whoever won is cheating" hahaha. Funnnn times. We were like screaming and laughing at the top of our lungs...and listening to Moulin Rouge because during the Hills we for some reason started going "RRRRRRRRROXXXXXANNEEEE" which somehow eventually evolved into being dinosaurs who were going "RRRRRRRRROXXXXXANNEEEE". Aka, it was awesome.
