02. Percy Jackson and the lightning theif ( jan 1st to feb 2nd 2010)
I have never had so much trouble trying to get in to a book as I have had in this one. I mean I like the series but I just kept put it down and reading other things.. Then one day I was like I need to get this done cause I only had like 3 chapters left .. I felt so good that it was done.. I am not reading the next one at the moment cause I may never finish it if it is anything like the first one.. I the story was alright I was kinda not impressed with percy at the beginning and he still was as much the same at the end of the story.. I loved the magic in the story but it kinda got old. I mean how can these kids get in so much trouble in one book and survive.
All in all this book didn't really incise me. I like but not enough. I mean I was hoping for it to be like harry potter where the characters were always keeping you interested. I m sorry to those who love this book I may feel differently in the future if I try reading this series again which may be a while. So at the moment I will give this book a 3out of 5.
