The trip to San Francisco was officially a success. The Bug was a hit - how could he not be? I've determined that he's a flirt. I know that some women have difficulty dropping their children off at daycare. I am completely guilt-free. Every time I turn him over to Debbie he's suddenly all smiles and giggles! How great is that? He puts his little chin down to his shoulder and gets coy! He was just as charming in the Bay Area, despite a nasty case of Pink Eye and a cough. As a matter of fact, a good time was had by all, I think.
I of course got Pink Eye, and the latest virus that's going round. I'm so hip, I even had the *latest* virus. Vow (German accent). Highlights include:
- A trip on Bart to AT&T Park, to watch the Diamondbacks get smashed by the Giants. Boo hoo. Good hot chocolate though, and a stunning night-time view of the bay.
- The Lighthouse Adventure. Sex in a truck has never been so good.
- Mod Lang in it's new El Cerrito location. I do love a good bare-bones music shop, and this was it to a tee. Music purchased: American Analog Set's latest, and 7" single of Jonathan David by B&S. Not that I don't have the CD, but I'm a completest at heart.
- Good times with the Fam. A Sunday visit by Maria, Kathy and her husband Carlos topped it off, but Saturday saw a picnic at Lake Elizabeth where a good deal of folk attended. Unfortunately, the Bug is an indoor creature, and wasn't pleased with the wind and sun in his waking moments. Oh well. Can't have it all.
