Hello again, LiveJournal. Where has the time gone? And why did I end up back here of all places? I guess there's nothing like familiarity. Anyway, picking up from where I left off a year ago...
The Rad Tech program is good, but tough. I like clinicals and I'm looking forward to this summer when I'll be in the hospital 40 hours per week. It isn't easy and I've had days where the only goal was to survive without quitting, but I made it (with a little help from two of my favorite classmates). Once finals are over at the end of the week it'll be one year down and one year to go. I'm still planning on moving to Seattle after graduation. Of all the places I've been it is the only one that feels... natural? Whatever, you get the point. I think I'll feel at home there almost immediately.
I'm still not seeing anyone and that has been working really well. It's nice not to have to worry about someone else or be affected by someone else. Daily life is smooth and stable and I'm enjoying it. Speaking of which, my "awesome" new coworker from my previous entry turned out to be a jaded religious fanatic. I can't blame her - from what I gather I'd be messed up too if I had lived her life. It's sad though. She was such a smart, levelheaded, joyful person when I first met her. Oh well, there are plenty of other people in the world.
