強く願う事に出会えば/自分らしく生きられる。

Yes~~. Life feels like it's finally starting to pick up again. I definitely had been super imo up until recently. I hope? that I finally managed to shake it off (and keep it that way)!

Work is being as difficult as ever, but I feel like I can handle things again. Kind of. ...except for the pending personnel shuffle/organization overhaul on July 1st. Although no one's found out specifically where they are moving to, they did announce the new organization structure...and my current office is basically getting torn apart into three separate new offices. I really dread the idea of getting put into a totally new environment (which is 95% going to happen) with people I totally don't know.

But I guess there's no use worrying too much about that right now.

In other news, today was the annual general assembly for our international relations association, that half of my work comes from. I had to make two loooong speech-like explanations in stuffy Japanese in front of lots of people. I did it last year, which too my horror I couldn't remember at all how I did, but I guess this year wasn't too bad either. But that's over and our project proposals for the next year have been approved, so my supervisor and I can finally start really delving into all of the exciting work plans we have. It'll be busy but fun!

Aside from my strange cravings for salads lately, I've also become totally addicted to the Korean drama "Personal Taste"! I can't remember how I stumbled on it, but I reaaaaally like it. At first I didn't find the main characters attractive at all, but they have great chemistry and now they've really grown on me.

Speaking of Korea....it's quite sudden, but I'll be going to Seoul again from May 19-23. My brother will be there for a week for work, and since he's close enough, I decided to bite the bullet and go see him! I miss him tons, and (I think) it'll be exciting to explore a country that we both don't really know much about together XD.

In conclusion. One of the perks of living in the country: delicious, organic, FREE fruits and vegetables. One of my old bosses (who got transferred last year) gave me these because he knows that I love strawberries.

P.S. The only thing that sucks about all this good weather is that the bugs have started coming out. Friday night, I was out drinking with coworkers. Towards the end, we were wandering the streets for a couple hours, and I wound up getting bit by mosquitoes TWENTY THREE times. 23?!!! In particular, I think my left leg got like 15 bites alone, and it's so swollen that I HAD to count because it's so absurd. No matter how much anti-itch stuff I apply, it's crazy itchy. A lot of the bites are painfully swollen and have red streaks...I hope they go away soon >_
