Why can't we all just get along?
Misa isn't entirely sure about spending more time with Mello. She gets such an odd vibe from him; on the one hand, he's kind of a jerk, prone to violent outbursts and he doesn't really seem to trust her much. On the other, he is pretty extremely important to Matt, and obviously going to be around a lot, whether she likes it or not. And he doesn't seem to outright hate her, which gives her hope that perhaps some sort of...truce, might be reached.
She is still jealous, though. It's hard not to be. Matt and Mello have shared so much history, and she gets the feeling that ever since Matt has found his Mello again, he's been a little more distant with her. Of course Mello's opinion of her will color Matt's - that's unavoidable. She resigns herself to the fact that she'll just have to convince Mello that she really is a good person. Perhaps then things can achieve some sort of uneasy balance, at the very least.
With all that in mind, she'd reluctantly left the bar with Mello in tow, on the pretext of 'showing him their room'. It was an odd thing to do, really, but Matt had seemed to think it would be good for the two of them to 'have a chat' somewhere a little more private than the bar, and she hadn't wholly disagreed.
Letting them into the room, she crosses the floor and settles herself on one of the larger, more comfortable couches. The room has expanded a fair bit since she and Matt had first fallen into it, adopting features that reflect both of their personalities. It is almost as if the room is learning, adapting itself to what it knows of its occupants likes and dislikes. The couch on which Misa has settled herself, for example, is soft black velvet with baby pink accents. She arranges herself on it, knees bent under her, resting her folded arms casually on the arm of the couch.
"So..." she looks over at Mello, one eyebrow raised. "What do you think?"
