I am intoxicated with thoughts of you
It feels good to be in love again.
I'm also working on a drink, which currently involves Mountain Dew White Out and Peach Schnapps. I think I might add grapefruit juice.
*Pours in grapefruit juice*
Now it's perfect. Since it has an orangey-pink tinge at the top that gets lighter towards the bottom of the martini glass, I'm currently content with the name, Fuzzy Squid. If it were a fresher bottle and I had a champagne flute, that would be better suited to hold something carbonated like the Mountain Dew.
But if I come up with something better, I'll mention it. It's about one part peach schnapps, one part White Out and a splash or two of grapefruit juice (enough to give it a light pink tinge and counteract the extra sweetness of the schnapps).
Anyway, I'm not typically optimistic, but it my just be the endorphins, but I'm optimistic. I think I'll have a good semester.
And for those of you who don't like reading, here's my sister's cat on Christmas day when we went to open presents.
