Family debate about MJ's kids.
Just need a chance to vent right now.
Feeling like this at the moment.
While waiting for a video to load up, my brother asked me if I really thought that Prince and Paris were really MJ's kids. It then lead to me having a small debate between my brother and then my mom about the kids, Michael "painting himself white", and him being "weird". Will, my brother, noted that Prince and Paris weren't black and that only Blanket really looked like he was Michael's kid. My mom then told me that I was still little when all the stuff came out about Prince and Paris's birth, which is true because at that time, I was in elementary school when the whole alligations came out and well on my way to middle school when Prince and Paris were born. I then tried to explain that both Prince and Paris had similar facial characteristcs with Michael and all the rumors about who their real father was. Will then noted that he looked a bit like Hugh Laurie and asked "If I came up to you on the street and told you I was the son of Hugh Laurie, you'd believe me." Mom believes that Prince and Paris were adopted and that Michael didn't want black children, "That's why he painted himself." I was starting to lose my nerve and told her that he did have Vitiligo and Mom cut me off by saying she didn't want to have a fight about Michael Jackson.
Like I said once before, I'm the only person in my family that likes/loves Michael and I'm jsut venting. I know there were times when even I wondered if they were his kids, but I've seen the comparison pictures and I really feel that my mom and brother are wrong, that Prince and Paris ARE Michael's kids by blood. But I hate argueing with my family about this sometimes.
So I ask you, my fellow MJ fans, what do you think? Have you dealt with shit like this recently or in the past? Trying to not only defend MJ, but to state that MJ wasn't "painting himself white" and that his kids are his by blood?
