H-H-Hi guys :D I haven't posted substantially in a long time, so this post is going to be sorta long. Understatement. First things first! Belated happy birthday to those I haven't been able to greet for the past month(s) :D Now onto some more blabberings, fic updates, etc etc :p
☆ FALL 2010 Schedule ❤
→ Set A (aka: watching no matter what!!!1eleventyone) -
[1] Star Driver - Lovely lovely animation, great opening & ending songs, and an overload of FABULOUS. It doesn't get any better than that! o/ I think Miyano Mamoru is the best choice for Takuto (WITH A PUUUNCH--!!!) though I've always thought that it was FukuJun on the lead role instead LMAO. When I saw Star Driver's title, all I can think of is, HELLO THAR GEASS! (Star Driver: Takuto of the Radiance vs Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - t-t-they do have similarities! ^W^) First episode showed signs of a love triangle, which I personally don't mind, as long as it doesn't become a plot tumor and become the sole driving point of the series 8D My handy solution to any love triangle is to pair up the two 'pursuers' instead, s-s-so Takuto/Sugata OTP, yes!❤ And episode two is well. HMMMMM MOAR OTP ❤ Akira Ishida plays yet another mysterious light-haired character (Kaworu? Hanbei?) and I'm already counting on him to bring in the Ho Yay *shot* In any case, I'm enjoying the show so far, so this is defnitely my top show for the season! *__* KIRABOSHI~☆
[2] Togainu no Chi - The show that I've been looking forward to for what seems like forever is finally here! ^o^/ A violent BL romance game---! A-1 is producing this show and given what happened with their show last season (KUROSHITSUJI II), I have high hopes for BL BL BL BL BL in this adaptation XD; The manga adaptations are rather... lacking on the BL side after all @__@ I am more excited for this than Star Driver, but Togainu's first episode was kinda... meh. There's something off about the animation for me, or maybe that's because I have high expectations from A-1 >__>;; But who am I kidding. I fangirled so hard when Shiki had that very long moment of drawing out his sword at the OP :)) And since I know the story already - I was very pleasantly surprised when they slotted Shiki at the end of the first episode ❤ Of course I was a bit surprised also that Shiki's much... nicer to Akira? I remember in all the adaptations I saw, he always really wanted to kill Akira on their first meeting LOL I refuse to see this as a sign of possible OOCness, but rather, as a sign that the anime is taking the SHIKI ROUTEEEEEEE :D :D :D Of course I'll be happy even if they don't take that route, because just the existence of Shiki = my entire reason for watching, but! Shiki/Akira is one of my (not-so-hidden) biggest OTPs, so. ❤
[3] Shiki - Why are you on hiatus whyyyyyy. Along with Giant Killing and Kuroshitsuji II, this is my favorite show for last season ❤ I love the Natsuno/Toru Ho Yay (which will only increase, now that's Toru already bit Natsuno HAHA), but the main draw of the series for me is Ozaki-sensei ❤ I'm hoping that they do a good job in animating the next chapters, since in my opinion, Shiki has one of the creepiest moments in all the horror shows I've seen (and I've seen a lot of those;;;) E-E-E-Especially that scene *___* I won't spoil much, but. Holy shiiiiit. *____*
[4] Inazuma Eleven - SUPER-DIMENSIONAL SOCCER, yeah! ♡ Okay, so I'll be the first to admit that I only started watching this show because I saw HIROTOOOO~♡ and I've heard about his... stalkerfanboy tendencies Foe Yay with the lead character (who shares the same VA as Naruto, LOL). It's a kiddy show, in a way, but IT'S AWESOME OKAY :D I've been really stressed lately and watching this show is oddly refreshing (Narm Charm?) 8D It also has Mamoru Miyano voicing Fubuki Shirou, who just tickles all my MOEMOE buttons hahaha. How can I resist the combination of a Kida-kun!Moe voice with a split-personality? And the other personality is the aggressive!Light/KID/Setsuna voice :D :D :D Of course, there's no show where I don't ship anyone, so. OTPs include said stalkerfanboy OTP (Hiroto/Mamoru), rivalry-UST?-THE CHAOS relationship (Burn/Gazelle), everyone/everyone (Yes, I went there :D It's soccer. Of course there'd be everyone/everyone :D).
[5] Fairy Tail - Marathoned the manga in one sitting! It's so shounen, but it's so undeniably cute as well ♡ It's by the same creator as RAVE, which is one of my earliest forays into the animanga land, so there's definitely a nostalgia factor there 8D And because it's from RAVE's mangaka, there's an expy for the awesome Sieghart (who is one of my earliest animanga crushes ahahaha), so that's double the nostalgia and hotness! factor XD I love Erza - she's so awesomely strong yet she has her moe moe tsundere moments too 8D Sieghart-copy is everywhere in this manga and if I didn't love him so much I would find it rather annoying that he's the ZOMGSOSTRONGGG person that is connected to anyone and everyone, b-b-but. He's my favorite, so. LOLBIAS. I also love how Natsu is a determinator, like a typical shounen hero; he's stupid, but he's not that stupid 8D And of course the other Sieghart-lookalike, Gray Fullbuster, is another one of my top favorites ♥ Also, during the first few chapters, I jokingly shipped my crack!OTP for the series, Gray/Loke, and ~200 chapters later... HMMM. It's also one my rare shounen series where I have strong het OTPs (Loke/Lucy and Erza/Jellal! TwT) and LOLTP/aka LOLtruepairing! of Natsu/Gray XDDD They're only LOLTP, because while I don't think there's ever a chance they'll become together, but they're so... cute when they're bickering. And Natsu has such strong Gray-senses, to the point that he can wake up from a coma as long as Gray's insulting him LOLOLOL
→ Set B (aka: I need to finish S1 LMAO) -
[6] Tegami Bachi is a show I always put off because I can't take seeing Lag so heartbroken to see Gauche, but. I want to see Gauche using his LELOUCHvoice as Noir---! One of these days I'll actually finish season 1 orz ❖ Arakawa Under the Bridge x2 has a cute season premier, but there are some characters that are unfamiliar to me, since I haven't watched the last two or three episodes yet ahahaha ❖ INDEX season 1 is rather boring, but I know that it gets awesomer, so as long as I keep that in mind... I do want to see Biribiri being so tsun-tsun towards Touma though 8D ❖ Hakouki season 1 has some serious pacing issues and I really don't like the leading girl's character at all, but I know that the plot twists are rather good, s-s-so. I'll probably just marathon season 1 and 2 together though |D
→ Set C (aka: for lulz factor / others) -
[7] Psychic Detective Yakumo is a series that used to be on my top-tier-of-sorts this season, but the first episode was just so 'meh' compared to its manga counterpart D: If I find Hakouki too slow, the first episode is on the opposite side of the spectrum ^__~ I hope it does get better though, because I find the story really interesting. I have no interest in the romantic subplot, but hopefully it'll grow on me, somehow. LOL If nothing else, Ono Daisuke voicing a character with glowing red eyes should be a huge draw already haha.❖ Bakuman is now an anime about the manga on making a manga XD I did enjoy the first few chapters, though the romantic subplot here is the primary motivation for the main character's dreams, so I find that a bit... off-putting. I find it fairly ridiculous too ~__~ But of course, I do know that there are awesome characters in the later parts, so I'll probably just marathon the show once it reaches those parts ~__~ ❖ Mirai Nikki OVA is probably the only OVA I'm looking forward to this season, but that's because I just want to see Akise alive and still crushing on Yukiteru 8D (It's CANON HOYAY! *__*) ❖ I haven't watched a single episode of Otome Youkai Zakuro & Kuragehime yet, so no comments? 8D
→ Set D - Iron Man, LOLHEROES, The World Only God Knows, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (think of Gainax + quirky animation + Powerpuff Girls + lots of toilet humor, sexual innuendo, and other PG-15? stuff; it's a good mix of 'wtf did I just watch?!' + 'LOLWHUT' + 'I'm still watching this?' + 'AHAHAHA'. Yeahhh;;;), Super Robot Wars, Nurarihyon no Mago, Bleach, Naruto.

[8] GIANT KILLING - is probably my most favorite soccer series ever. Great characters, great plot, great development, okay-ish animation, great series :D One of the few series that makes me feel the 'NEXT EPISODE NAOOO' cravings :D OTPs aside (I have a lot for this series), I think this series shows great chemistry between the characters :D Of course, I'd be lying if I say that ~*Prince Gino*~ isn't one of my reasons for watching XDDD He's a fun combination of absurd levels of narcissim backed with talent and filled with so much lulzy moments of laziness. Not to mention he's voiced by Ono Daisuke. Not to mention that he's at the center of all my ships for the show LOL Tsubaki is so adorably moe too ❤ Coach Tatsumi is all sorts of awesome as well and damn I'm sad that's over already. I hope there'll be next season (unlikely @__@) or at least, for the rest of the volumes to be scanlated 8D
[9] KUROSHITSUJI II - is one of the sequels that I really enjoyed (a rarity for me;;;) and I think that the second season is much better than the first season 8D Alois and Claude were interesting additions to the cast full of crazy and crazy-awesome characters. The twisted relationship between Alois and Claude (and Alois' backstory) feels right in the dark tones of the Kuroshitsuji 'verse. I didn't think they'd upgrade Alois' feelings for Claude from subtext to canon, so that scores major fangirl points to me. though that upgrade to canon didn't end so well for Alois -__- Also, totally called the demon!Ciel ending ahahahaha *shot*
[10] Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin - short and sweet, with enough plot twists and enough breather episodes to make it work. I find it to be a great example of how there can be a working romantic subplot without it being the center of the show :D (Though LOLOLOL Maya is a ~COUGAR~) ❖ UraBoku started off slow, before improving by the second half (of course, I could just be biased with Kuroto's addition LMAO) but the last episode was... ehhhhhh. I'm not sure if it's because a second season is in the works or what, but the ending is just. D: ❖ Sengoku Basara II is a lot better than the first season, story-wise, though the ending is also a bit eh (though not as much as UraBoku's). SenBasa, I can understand, since it will have an upcoming movie, and I wonder if it will have plot twists from the 3rd game. Hmmm.

[11] Movies - I haven't been watching movies lately, to the point that I can't remember the last time I've been to a cinema 8D Of course, knowing me, it'll probably have only been two months, but it feels super long already orz I watched Professor Layton - The Eternal Diva yesterday night and it's so adorable ♥ Rewatched the two Rebuild Evangelion movies last weekend, because LOLNAKEDKAWORU |D
[12] Dramas - Downloaded Hidarime Tantei EYE & Battery, but I can't find the strength to finish them. There's still a gazillion-long list of dramas that I need to watch for either (a) the hotness, (b) the Ho Yay, or (c) the plot, aaaand there's just not enough time in the world. D:
[13] Books - I've nearly finished all of Agatha Christie's books and it's such an interesting experience to read her novels, because she started a lot of tropes that are now found and used (and overused, etc) in the mystery/detective genre. I'm starting to read some of the books authored by: PG Wodehouse, James Patterson, Sidney Sheldon, HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Dorothy L. Sayers. I'm working through the pile of books borrowed from bookshops / libraries / friends and there's still not enough time in the world. D:
[14] TV Shows - From previous seasons, I'm currently watching How I Met Your Mother (they're reallllly pushing the Barney/Ted now? LOLOLOL) & Merlin (Gwaine is hot asdfghkl) & Gossip Girl (YAY for my Serena/Blair OTP! *shot*) & America's Next Top Model (I only watch seasons when I have someone I'm rooting for, and I hope Ann wins!) & Cougar Town (ahahaha I'm still watching this?). House and Big Bang Theory, I'm still watching, but they're kinda bumped down in my priority list because I feel like I have enough comedy shows / I loved Huddy better when it was lots of UST >__<;; For the new season, I'm currently hooked on: The Whole Truth (the characters have great chemistry with each other and the show feels balanced and tension-filled at the same time :D), Lost Girl (though this is starting to get old quite fast), Nikita (the action is hot), Boardwalk Empire & Defenders & The Event (but I have backlogs for these shows;;;;). I marathoned Covert Affairs like, a month ago, and I can't wait for its second season! Next season for White Collar is also much anticipated :D Sherlock's next season is also taking sooooo long D: D: D:
[15a] Marathon - TV-Shows: I'm currently marathoning Psych, Leverage, Buffy, Angel, The Mentalist, Dexter, Lie to Me, Chuck, Bones, Fringe, Monk, SGA, 30Rock and probably some others that I can't remember. The ones in bold are the ones with good progress, because I can only download and watch so much in a day LOL
[15b] Marathon - Anime/Manga: Shounen Omnyouji (only 3 episodes left to download!), Patalliro (LOLOLOLOL so gay and so funny), Mononoke (which I finished :D yesterday), Mushishi (which I plan to finish asap), Innocent Venus (OMG THE HOYAY. OMG THE PLOT TWIST!) and probably a million other shows and mangas. HAIZ.
☆ Real-Life Shenanigans ☁
[-] A million and one things have happened and well. This isn't an RL post so I won't get into that much. Work has been rather stressful lately - they're taking advantage of me since they know that I'm leaving soon. Leaving work is part of the RL shenanigans' bulk, but it's definitely not for any vacation purposes or for getting a new job. BUT ANYWAY. So that's taking a lot of my time - it's like my bosses searched for every possible thing they can dump to me, and are now working me really hard OTL Aside from that, my laptop died. After 4 years of nonrelenting service and of outstanding dedication, it finally crashed. Thank goodness for back-up, but the purchase of the new laptop is both OMGYAY (new laptoooooop) and OMGNO (no more moneyyyyy) and OMG!!! (installing new programs and such). On the OMGYAY side, I'm now playing Civilization V and Blazblue in my laptop :D :D :D Okay so I play Blazblue because I want to hear the popular yandere Jin say "HISASHIBURI, NII-SAAAAAAN ♥" before attempting to kill his brother LOL Sims 3 is next on my installation list, but I still can't find a good .iso file for it. HMM.

[12] Dramas - Downloaded Hidarime Tantei EYE & Battery, but I can't find the strength to finish them. There's still a gazillion-long list of dramas that I need to watch for either (a) the hotness, (b) the Ho Yay, or (c) the plot, aaaand there's just not enough time in the world. D:
[13] Books - I've nearly finished all of Agatha Christie's books and it's such an interesting experience to read her novels, because she started a lot of tropes that are now found and used (and overused, etc) in the mystery/detective genre. I'm starting to read some of the books authored by: PG Wodehouse, James Patterson, Sidney Sheldon, HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Dorothy L. Sayers. I'm working through the pile of books borrowed from bookshops / libraries / friends and there's still not enough time in the world. D:
[14] TV Shows - From previous seasons, I'm currently watching How I Met Your Mother (they're reallllly pushing the Barney/Ted now? LOLOLOL) & Merlin (Gwaine is hot asdfghkl) & Gossip Girl (YAY for my Serena/Blair OTP! *shot*) & America's Next Top Model (I only watch seasons when I have someone I'm rooting for, and I hope Ann wins!) & Cougar Town (ahahaha I'm still watching this?). House and Big Bang Theory, I'm still watching, but they're kinda bumped down in my priority list because I feel like I have enough comedy shows / I loved Huddy better when it was lots of UST >__<;; For the new season, I'm currently hooked on: The Whole Truth (the characters have great chemistry with each other and the show feels balanced and tension-filled at the same time :D), Lost Girl (though this is starting to get old quite fast), Nikita (the action is hot), Boardwalk Empire & Defenders & The Event (but I have backlogs for these shows;;;;). I marathoned Covert Affairs like, a month ago, and I can't wait for its second season! Next season for White Collar is also much anticipated :D Sherlock's next season is also taking sooooo long D: D: D:
[15a] Marathon - TV-Shows: I'm currently marathoning Psych, Leverage, Buffy, Angel, The Mentalist, Dexter, Lie to Me, Chuck, Bones, Fringe, Monk, SGA, 30Rock and probably some others that I can't remember. The ones in bold are the ones with good progress, because I can only download and watch so much in a day LOL
[15b] Marathon - Anime/Manga: Shounen Omnyouji (only 3 episodes left to download!), Patalliro (LOLOLOLOL so gay and so funny), Mononoke (which I finished :D yesterday), Mushishi (which I plan to finish asap), Innocent Venus (OMG THE HOYAY. OMG THE PLOT TWIST!) and probably a million other shows and mangas. HAIZ.
☆ Real-Life Shenanigans ☁
[-] A million and one things have happened and well. This isn't an RL post so I won't get into that much. Work has been rather stressful lately - they're taking advantage of me since they know that I'm leaving soon. Leaving work is part of the RL shenanigans' bulk, but it's definitely not for any vacation purposes or for getting a new job. BUT ANYWAY. So that's taking a lot of my time - it's like my bosses searched for every possible thing they can dump to me, and are now working me really hard OTL Aside from that, my laptop died. After 4 years of nonrelenting service and of outstanding dedication, it finally crashed. Thank goodness for back-up, but the purchase of the new laptop is both OMGYAY (new laptoooooop) and OMGNO (no more moneyyyyy) and OMG!!! (installing new programs and such). On the OMGYAY side, I'm now playing Civilization V and Blazblue in my laptop :D :D :D Okay so I play Blazblue because I want to hear the popular yandere Jin say "HISASHIBURI, NII-SAAAAAAN ♥" before attempting to kill his brother LOL Sims 3 is next on my installation list, but I still can't find a good .iso file for it. HMM.
