For The First Time In Forever...

- Ol' Whatshisface (Man, it was a funny convo since he'd already been drinking and I started while we were on the phone)
Lord, I just had an hour-long conversation with Ol' Whatshisface. We were talking about how shitty his day was (Cuz of a shitty co-worker) then it shimmied on over to my job saying that they would help me financially since the government did away with Covid pay… But… Here's the kicker: Only if I get vaccinated… Like I didn't go through enough having Covid. Let me decide where I wanna go next. That's on some fuck shit.
Anyway, then the conversation moved to how self absorbed I am (Not enough to be annoying just enough that you know Imma put myself first) and how angry he gets. (Not enough to be a psycho but just enough that I can tell through texts)...
It was pretty cool cuz we haven't had a phone conversation in damn near 7yrs. (Probably cuz we both despise talking on the phone and prefer texting) I dunno why. We hardly ever run outta shit to say so it keeps an interesting air to it... Besides I think I helped improve the quality of his day. I am absolutely hilarious after all (Or the alcohol helped and I'm just full of shit. Hell, you dunno🤷🤷🤷)
We also talked about how much we laugh at shit, but what I enjoyed the most was the conversation about the understanding that we don't argue... We disagree respectfully. It's kinda like, as an example: "Respectfully, you're full of shit." With the response being: "Respectfully, lemme explain why I'm not full of shit." I'm impressed that without raising our voices, we're able to gain perspective on how one another feels/sees things without there being hurt feelings or a shouting match breaking out. We work through the disagreement and we both agreed that it's because we respect each other's opinions and it's worth more than being right.
I like that about us.

PS: It could be the booze, but I swear at one point, while we were talking about the fuck shit at my job, he started one of his sentences with "I love you, but..." Probably completely untrue, but just in case, I want it documented. Know alcohol has you hearing shit in these streets 😂😂😂
PS2: I think we have great conversations to say we're hardly ever around one another (Texting everyday doesn't count... I think. I dunno. Maybe... Nah, fuck that. *shrugs* It counts... So it is written. So it shall be done)
