Why is Laurynn in here pretending like this big as piece of wood is a baby? She already told me to "Shhh!" (Fingers to her lips and all) because when she started singing to it, I started laughing. She was like: "He's sleeping." She proceeded to lay it down on the chair --> It's right there and it's apparently taking a nap.
Well, she gave E (That's his name) a spanking and then she wanted me to rock him. I went to rock E and Zyi' goes: "Don't forget to sing the song!" I am not singing "Rock-A-By Baby" to a plank of wood. *laughs* That's where I draw the line.
See? This is what happens when the electricity goes out.
Okay, I'm back. I didn't get to finish this last night cuz my battery went dead. Hanging out with the kids was actually pretty entertaining. Kylee had to go to pratice for a program she has in a few weeks so for a little while it was just Zyi, Mo, and Laurynn. Kylee came back 10mins after the lights came back on.
Oh! You shoulda seen the 3 of them huddled in front of the door watching the people fix the power lines. I can't even get them to sit that still for a freaking movie. I told Laurynn the thing they were lifting him up to the pole with was called a "cup" cuz I was trying to use terms she would understand. Every time he would go up and come back down, she would exclaim: "Look! Cup! Cup!" They stayed there all the way up until they fixed the lights. I was impressed. Then they wanted to watch TV. Now, apparently, out of the kids, Laurynn is the only one who would survive in the apocalypse because all the kids were saying they were hungry except for her. Now, little baby kids are the ones who usually start with the "I'm hungry" 1st so I went to see she was pulling it off. I go in the kitchen and she's got 2 cups of pears out on the table and are eating out of both of them... Like a boss. The rest of them ate cereal and when they lights came back on, I cooked dinner but by then, Laurynn was so full of fruit, she wasn't hungry. I'm sorry but I was impressed. *laughs* The other 2 shoulda been taking notes.
