2. I will give you a letter.
3. Post the names of five fictional characters whose names begin with that letter, and your thoughts on each. The characters can be from books, movies, or TV shows.
Paul: I have no idea really what to say about Paul, aside from my usual fangirlish rambling. I really can't explain what this alien means to me, and how, after seeing the movie and reading the script, he's affected me. I can't even really give a coherent, decent sort of input on his character, because his awesome renders me speechless. But, I guess that in of itself sort of explains my thoughts of him, heh.
Pocahontas: I think Pocahontas came to mind, simply because I'm on a little bit of a kick (see
this entry). She's not my favorite Disney character, but I do like her a lot. She's beautiful, strong-spirited, and a lot of the things I wish I could be, but for now will be happy to admire.
Po: When Kung Fu Panda came out, I didn't really think much of Po. Yes, he was funny, but it didn't go much beyond that. However, when the second movie came out, my entire perspective of him changed, and for the better, I might add. He started off as comic relief to me, despite being the main character, but now I think of him as something - someone - truly inspirational.
Pascow, Victor: This man right here, honestly, is the reason I like Stephen King's Pet Sematary (both movie and book versions). He's creepy, he's dead, and one of those secondary, minor characters are are so much more important than you really think at first. He just goes to show that one good deed leads to another - even if, in the end, his efforts were in vain, considering how the story plays out.
Piccolo: Oh, Piccolo. I don't really have much to say about him, other than I've loved him since I was little, way back when I first saw Dragonball. He's just awesome, in every way, shape and form - and I'm pretty sure there's a pun in there, somewhere.
