I've actually been obsessed with this pairing for years now, I've just never really... said anything about it, or done anything with it. It started with an MV I saw a few years ago (unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on YouTube anymore, though), and I instantly fell in love with the idea of the pairing. It just made so much sense to me, unlike a lot of the other cracky Disney crossover couples I've seen.
So, I decided I'd finally give this pairing some love, and what better way to do that than to whip out the old music meme? I swear, this thing never fails me, and I'm totally not addicted to it. <<;
Oh, and, have some more links to other, shorter MVs I found:

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing.
4. Do five of these, then post.
Brother Bear & Pocahontas
Kenai x Pocahontas
A/N: AU-ishness, spoilers for both Pocahontas and Brother Bear movies, and pseudo-bestiality/interspecies relationship between a man-turned-bear and a human woman.

Through Heaven's Eyes - The Prince of Egypt OST (3:44)
For the third time, he watches as Koda, half-asleep, shuffles toward him. The cub doesn't seem to think twice as he lays himself down and shamelessly cuddles into his flank. This time, Kenai doesn't push him away - partly because he's given up, but mostly because he doesn't mind that much anymore.
“He's lucky to have you,” she says, and he looks away from Koda and through the flames of the small fire she made to her. He can't help but think it looks like she's glowing for a moment, before her words sink in and he has to look away.
He hasn't told her all of his story - of man and bear and monster - but he thinks if she did know, she definitely wouldn't say such things. It's been some time since his permanent transformation, but that doesn't mean the guilt has entirely left him.
“Sometimes, I don't think so,” he tells her.
“If that were true,” she says, and Koda presses his face into Kenai's fur, “things wouldn't be the way they are now.”
And that's all he needs for now. Her words and Koda's small body against his own to remind him that this is the way things are meant to be.

Colder Weather - Zac Brown Band (4:34)
He learns that loving someone sometimes means letting them go. Whatever plans the Spirits have in store for him, they don't include Nita - otherwise something or someone should have changed. But she's still a woman and he's still a bear, and so he has no choice but to leave her.
If she's meant to be with him at any time, life will lead him back to her again.
Koda keeps him on his toes, keeps him moving forward. They travel aimlessly until snow gives way to forest, and it's within those trees he meets her. She can speak to him, just as Nita could, though it has more to do with listening than with the magic of the Spirits. Regardless, he's idly grateful for human companionship once more.
They stay long enough for the seasons to change, and when the snow sets in, there's a chill that sometimes rushes down his spine. She notices, asks what's wrong, and he can't begin to explain, to translate his jumbled thoughts of broken ice and freezing water and a burning amulet into words.
He tells her, “it's nothing. Just... thinking about the weather.”

DJ Got Us Falling In Love - Usher (3:40)
In the middle of the village, there is some kind of celebration taking place. There is a bonfire, singing and dancing, and all he can do is watch.
Koda is at his side, watching him watch her, and something twists and aches inside the cub's chest. Sometimes, he forgets Kenai is a man in bear's skin, and sometimes he doesn't think that, perhaps, he might miss actually being human. Right now, though, he's almost painfully aware of it.
And so, childishly, he wishes Kenai could have at least one night as a man again, because he knows that would make him happy, and he wants nothing more for his big brother.
That's when the change happens. Subtly this time, unlike the other times. There is no light, no ghosts. There is only a shift in body, from bear to man, and Kenai doesn't even seem to notice until Koda's nudging him, grunting and growling in ways he suddenly can't understand.
He looks at himself, at the human body he'd almost forgotten, at the clothing the same color of his fur (styled in the fashion of her people), and smiles in a way that makes the ache in Koda's chest lessen instantly. He doesn't question how or why, only murmurs a quiet thanks down to the small bear before he stands and walks toward the chieftain's daughter. She stares at him in surprise and, for a moment, doesn't recognize him. When she does, though, she smiles, and resumes her dance, inviting him to join her.
And he does, and he dances like he's never danced before, and like he'll never dance again.

Let's Play - Kristina Marina (2:57)
Pocahontas could rival Koda in energy, Kenai decides while bounding after her, weaving through trees with not even half of her grace. She moves with the grace of a feral cat, and when she suddenly dips down and out of view, he doesn't think there may be some kind of drop.
But, of course, there is, and while she leaps and lands so perfectly, he all but falls on his face. He tumbles over himself and winds up on his back with a little less air in his lungs that he prefers.
Whatever breath he had to himself is stolen when she suddenly leans over him, her heaving chest to his own.
“Are you alright?” she asks, a teasing lilt in her voice.
He lets out a squeaky, wheezy “yeah” that he'll blame on the fall and not her.

Nobody Wants to be Lonely - Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera (4:14)
She reeks of regret and loneliness, and the white man's ship hasn't even sailed out of view yet. Kenai knows she loved him and wishes she could have had the courage to leave her world behind for his. But now it's too late, and she wears her broken, worn heart for all the world to see.
She stays atop the cliff ledge long, long after the ship has gone and the sun has set, and he stays with her. He's let go of those he loved, too, and he knows how it can hurt - but he also knows it won't hurt that badly forever.
And if he can, he'd like to help heal her hurt the way Koda and she helped heal his.
“I'm here,” he tells her softly, sidling up beside her, as close as he can manage without actually touching her.
“I know,” she says softly, eyes never leaving the horizon. “I know.”
