stalking - days 3 & 4
Not even a week in and I'm already falling behind. Really short recaps and pictures this time around. I'm tired.
Thank gooness we found out about some of the press conferences or else I would've ended up with no pictures of Patricia Clarkson, Kate Winslet (looooooover her!) and Mark Ruffalo (here for All the King's Men.) Try as I might, I could not get a decent shot of them at the gala later that night.
Mark Ruffalo had to rush in for the press conference but promised to come back after. We didn't stick around though.
The gala later that night was pretty crazy. Kate gave Jude Law a run in the "celeb people most wanted to see" category.
Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn were at the gala but just waved at the crowd. They totally by-passed the media line as well.

bauersgirl who is the master at pushing in and getting great pictures! Me, on the other hand, ended up with quite a few nice pictures of the guy next to Jude, in the red tie.
I missed the press conference for The Last Kiss but my fellow stalkers were there and snapped this great picture of Zach Braff. The gala for For Your Consideration. Lots of celebs and Samuel L. Jackson made another appearance! This time, he came over and spent a good amount of time signing autographs. Christina Ricci also showed up but I completely missed her.
Of all the celebs, Jennifer Coolidge spent the least time acknowledging the crowd which was disappointing. She exited her vehicle on the fans' side but was quickly ushered to the media.

Jamie Lee Curtis isn't in the movie but she was there as her husband is the director.
Samuel L. Jackson
Went to the screening of 10 Items or Less (hey we're at a film festival, gotta watch at least one movie). As we walked in, who should be doing interviews right in the lobby? Morgan Freeman. The female lead, Paz Vega, was there as well but I couldn't get a good shot.
The film is great. Stripped down, simple, sweet story, funny. Definitely a rec.
The gala for Bonneville. Tom Skerritt, Kathy Bates and Joan Allen all came over. Jessica Lange totally snubbed us.
As I'm typing this up, I have e-Talk on the tv doing a TIFF weekend recap. Christian Bale was here and we missed him!!!! :( Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutchner caused a near riot at the Yorkville Roots store. Of course, when we walked around Yorkville all we saw was the Extra guy. Matt Damon was here for the One X One benefit gala. Man, there were so many celebs here but just can't get to see them all.
