2/100 (Whoo a 2nd fic!)
"Umma! Umma!" 6 year old Sungmin burst out of his room at high speed and down the hallway to open the door for Eeteuk. "Hi Umma!"
"Hello Minnie ah." A tired looking Eeteuk walked into the kitchen with Sungmin folowing him and dropped his bags, the mail, and the paper on the kitchen counter. He bent down to pick Sungmin up. "How was your day Minnie?" He hugged Sungmin and Sungmin squeezed back.
"Oh it was the best! Except when I went to the doctor after lunch...." Sungmin looked up at him with his big, doe-like eyes and Eeteuk couldn't help but smile.
"Oh really? Who went to the doctor with you?" Eeteuk smoothed Sungmin's hair.
"No one. I went all by myself. And when I got to the doctor, the doctor was Eunhyuk."
"Ah...Speaking of Eunhyuk, where is he?"
"Oh...Yesung hyung took everyone else to get ice cream."
"What about you?"
"I wanted to wait for you to come home." Sungmin grinned.
"Aw how sweet of you...So what else happened at the doctor?"
"I was the patient, so Eunhyuk took my temperature and all that stuff they do at the doctor. I said I had an owie, so he took a look at it and it was so bad. So Eunhyuk said that I would have to have a...um...ray?" Sungmin looked at Eeteuk questioningly. "What's that thing called again?"
"An x-ray?"
"Yeah a ray." Sungmin nodded. "Mmm I got an X-ray today! Eunhyuk and I cut out a piece of black paper and taped fake bones on it to look like one. He taped the paper to my chest and told me to close my eyes. I was so scared Umma. When I closed my eyes, it was so dark. I wished you were there to hold my hand. But Hyukkie told me it wouldn't hurt me so I kept telling myself that and here I am."
Eeteuk cuddled Sungmin and he walked to the living room, where he sat on the couch with Sungmin on his lap. "Did you find out what was wrong?"
"Yes I did Umma because Eunhyuk's a good doctor. He looked at the x-ray screen and....he found something."
"What did he find hm?"
He found you, Umma. They found you i-in my heart. Doctor Eunhyuk wanted to operate, but I didn't want to. I said if they took you out, I would die because I could not live without you."
Eeteuk grinned his dimpled grin and buried his face in Sungmin's hair. "I'm never going to leave you Sungmin. I'm going to stay with you forvever you hear? I'm going to make sure you are not scared in the dark. I'm going to make sure you are loved forever." He wrapped his arms tighter around Sungmin.
Sungmin giggled and poked at Eeteuk's dimple. "I love you too Umma....Umma?"
"Mm yes Minnie ah?"
"Can we go get ice cream with Yesung hyung guys now?"
